The Warburg effect is one of the main metabolic features for cancers, with long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) being involved as a class of crucial regulators. Our previous studies have shown that ginsenoside 20(S)-Rg3, an active saponin monomer extracted from red ginseng, inhibits the Warburg effect in ovarian cancer cells. However, the detailed lncRNA regulatory network modulated by 20(S)-Rg3 to prevent the Warburg effect in ovarian cancer cells has not been explored.

BACKGROUND Prostate cancer (PCa), accounting for 28% of all male cancer cases, is the second leading cause of cancer-related death among men. NFATc1, belonging to the NFAT family, is overexpressed in ...
Cancer cells upregulate pyruvate kinase M2 isoform (PKM2) for their imperiously high energetic and biosynthetic demands to achieve enhanced proliferation, a common fingerprint of all type of cancers. ...
Ginsenoside Rg1 has been demonstrated to exhibit neuroprotective effects in various studies. This study aimed to investigate the neuronal mechanisms underlying the neuroprotective and antidepressant-l...
The Warburg effect, characterized by energy production through a high rate of aerobic glycolysis, is a metabolic hallmark of cancer cells. We previously found that ginsenoside 20(S)-Rg3 upregulated mi...
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common malignant tumors, with a high degree of malignancy and a poor prognosis. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between expr...
Ginsenoside H dripping pills is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM), This study is being conducted to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ginsenoside H dripping pills in patients w...
The purpose of this phase 3 study is to validate the efficacy and safety of ginsenoside-Rd for acute ischemic stroke.
This phase I trial studies how well [18F]DASA-23 and positron emission tomography (PET) scan work in evaluating pyruvate kinase M2 (PKM2) expression in patients with intracranial tumors or...

This is a phase Ib study to investigate the safety, pharmacokinetics and preliminary efficacy of ginsenoside compound K (GCK) tablets in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. This study is t...
A cytoplasmic receptor and peroxin that contains a series of TETRACOTIPEPTIDE REPEATS and binds to PEROXISOME TARGETING SIGNAL 1 (SKL-type). It is essential for protein import into PEROXISOMES; mutations in the PEX5 gene are associated with PEROXISOMAL DISORDERS such as ZELLWEGER SYNDROME.
A cytoplasmic receptor and peroxin that contains a series of WD40 REPEATS and binds to PEROXISOME TARGETING SIGNAL 2. It is essential for protein import into PEROXISOMES; mutations in the human PEX7 gene are associated with PEROXISOMAL DISORDERS such as Type 1 CHONDRODYSPLASIA PUNCTATA, RHIZOMELIC.
Used as an electron carrier in place of the flavine enzyme of Warburg in the hexosemonophosphate system and also in the preparation of SUCCINIC DEHYDROGENASE.
Rare autosomal recessive lissencephaly type 2 associated with congenital MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY and eye anomalies (e.g., RETINAL DETACHMENT; CATARACT; MICROPHTHALMOS). It is often associated with additional brain malformations such as HYDROCEPHALY and cerebellar hypoplasia and is the most severe form of the group of related syndromes (alpha-dystroglycanopathies) with common congenital abnormalities in the brain, eye and muscle development.
Compounds which inhibit or antagonize the biosynthesis or actions of androgens.
