Summary of "Chronic exposure to gamma irradiation at low dose-rates accelerates blood pressure decline associated with aging in female B6C3F mice."

Many studies are focusing on the biological effects of gamma irradiation at low dose-rates. Studies have shown that chronic exposure to gamma irradiation at low dose-rates shortened the lifespan of mice due to neoplasm formation. The aim of this study was to clarify the physiological effects of long-term exposure to gamma irradiation at low dose-rates in mice, measured with noninvasive parameters such as blood pressure.
