Recurrent bleeding is one of the major causes of morbidity and mortality in patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH). Antifibrinolytic therapy is known to reduce recurrent bleeding, however, its beneficial effect on outcome remains unclear. The effect of treatment with tranexamic acid (TXA) until aneurysm treatment on clinical outcome is evaluated.

To date, there have been no treatments developed to ameliorate non-melanoma skin cancer induced by long-term exposure to ultraviolet A (UVA) irradiation. In this study, we examined the effects of tran...
Safety evaluations of tranexamic acid (TXA) remain sparse, especially with respect to its impact on long-term outcomes in patients undergoing on-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). We hypothe...
Perioperative bleeding and blood product transfusion are associated with significant morbidity and mortality. Prevention and optimal management of bleeding decreases risk and lowers costs. Tranexamic ...
The purpose of this study is to test whether giving tranexamic acid to patients receiving treatment for blood cancers reduces the risk of bleeding or death, and the need for platelet trans...
