Summary of "Long term outcome and health related quality of life of elderly patients after meningioma surgery."

The incidence of meningiomas is increasing with age. As the median age for the diagnosis is 65 years, general health condition, co-morbidity and procedural risks are influencing the postoperative functional outcome. Aim of our study was to assess the long term impairments of health related quality of life (HRQOL) after meningioma resection in different age groups of elderly patients.
