Summary of "The short-term effects of cold spells on pediatric outpatient admission for allergic rhinitis in Hefei, China."

Some studies have reported that cold weather is associated with the development of allergic rhinitis (AR), but the study of extreme cold temperatures and AR is scarced. This study was conducted to find out the optimal definition of the cold spells in Hefei and to explore the relationship between cold spells and childhood AR, further to identify potential susceptible populations.
