We discuss in detail, the design of a nanorobot which can navigate, detect cancer cells in the blood and actuate the exposure of drugs. The nanorobot is designed with blood energy harvesting capability and the accumulation of electricity in a capacitor, that forms the main body of the nanorobot. Glucose hunger-based cancer detectors immobilized on a carbon nanotube (CNT) sensor, reduces its electrical resistance, when attached to a cancer cell. This mechanism in-turn allows electric current to activate a nano-electrical-mechanical (NEM) relay (mechanical transistor) to break the chamber ceiling and exposing a drug identified by the immune system for cell elimination. This concept is in line with the effort to design an autonomous computational nanorobot for in-vivo medical diagnosis and treatment. We present this facile approach to design a collective system to visualize the programmability in nanorobots. The calculations and simulation results provide a proof-of-concept towards a plausible implementation. Through this work, we present an overall picture towards an inorganic autonomous computational nanorobot for cancer diagnosis and treatment.

A molecular switch built with cucurbituril and a 3-station viologen-phenylene-imidazole compound exhibited pH actuated ring translocation with high fatigue resistance (up to 102 cycles). The switch...
Cell cooperation promotes many of the hallmarks of cancer via the secretion of diffusible factors that can affect cancer cells or stromal cells in the tumour microenvironment. This cooperation cannot...
Efficient and accurate detection of cancer cells (from normal cells) is of great importance in cancer diagnosis and prognosis. In this work, we design a new type of polymeric substrate containing nano...
Ribosomes are nanomachines essential for protein production in all living cells. Ribosome synthesis increases in cancer cells to cope with a rise in protein synthesis and sustain unrestricted growth. ...

An approach, process, or methodology which emphasizes credible evidence and the best available scientific knowledge, judiciously integrated to achieve the best possible outcomes in structural design. For example, the design of a new OUTPATIENT CLINIC might incorporate a review of published research on outpatient clinic design, decisions on similar past projects, along with interviews with staff and consumers.
The molecular designing of drugs for specific purposes (such as DNA-binding, enzyme inhibition, anti-cancer efficacy, etc.) based on knowledge of molecular properties such as activity of functional groups, molecular geometry, and electronic structure, and also on information cataloged on analogous molecules. Drug design is generally computer-assisted molecular modeling and does not include pharmacokinetics, dosage analysis, or drug administration analysis.
A form of RHABDOMYOSARCOMA arising primarily in the head and neck, especially the orbit, of children below the age of 10. The cells are smaller than those of other rhabdomyosarcomas and are of two basic cell types: spindle cells and round cells. This cancer is highly sensitive to chemotherapy and has a high cure rate with multi-modality therapy. (From Holland et al., Cancer Medicine, 3d ed, p2188)
Architecture, exterior and interior design, and construction of facilities other than hospitals, e.g., dental schools, medical schools, ambulatory care clinics, and specified units of health care facilities. The concept also includes architecture, design, and construction of specialized contained, controlled, or closed research environments including those of space labs and stations.
