Summary of "Chest High-Resolution CT Findings of Microscopic Polyangiitis: A Japanese First Nationwide Prospective Cohort Study."

The lung is one of the organs possibly involved in microscopic polyangiitis (MPA), and myeloperoxidase (MPO) antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA) is commonly found in patients with MPA. The aim of this study was to assess pulmonary lesions in Japanese patients with MPA.

No overlap between IgG4-related disease and microscopic polyangiitis and granulomatosis with polyangiitis despite elevated serum IgG4 at diagnosis: a retrospective monocentric study.

We investigated whether elevated serum IgG4 at the time of diagnosis of microscopic polyangiitis (MPA) and granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) may be associated with concurrent IgG4-related disease...

High-resolution computed tomography findings of thyroid transcription factor 1 deficiency (NKX2-1 mutations).

The expression of the NKX2-1 gene and its encoded protein, thyroid transcription factor 1 (TTF-1), plays a role in pulmonary surfactant homeostasis and lung development. NKX2-1 mutations have been ass...

The presence of anti-neutrophil extracellular trap antibody in patients with microscopic polyangiitis.

Although ANCA is the major autoantibody in patients with ANCA-associated vasculitis, previous studies have suggested the presence of anti-neutrophil extracellular trap (NET) antibody in patients with ...
