We were very interested by the paper recently accepted in Clinical and Experimental Allergy with online access (version of record online, 19 February 2019) « Pru p 7 sensitisation is a predominant cause of severe, cypress pollen-associated peach allergy » by Klingebiel et al. . Because we have been exploring the cypress pollen allergy for many years including the cross reactivity with peach allergy, a topic addressed in the paper of Klingebiel et al. , we believe that the readers of Clinical and Experimental Allergy deserve to be aware of data which are either missing in the paper or not properly presented to clearly appreciate the novelty of the findings.
