We report efficacy of resin infiltration to arrest progression of caries lesions as compared with non-invasive measures and oral hygiene education alone after a mean observation time of seven years.

Randomized controlled clinical trial of resin infiltration in primary molars: 2 years follow-up.

The aim of this split-mouth, randomized, controlled clinical trial was to evaluate the efficacy of resin infiltration in controlling the progression of non-cavitated proximal lesions in primary molars...

Evaluation of the value of re-wetting prior to resin infiltration of post-orthodontic caries lesions.

Assessment of the influence of colour changes during the re-wetting process as a possible predictor for the final result after resin infiltration to mask post-orthodontic white spot lesions.

Management of dental caries guided by the ICDAS-LAA: a 28-month follow-up.

Dental caries is a significant oral health issue and public health concern. Currently conceptualized as a dynamic and multifactorial process, caries is a continuum of disease stages, during which toot...

Medical and Biotech [MESH] Definitions

A pathologic change in leukemia in which leukemic cells permeate various organs at any stage of the disease. All types of leukemia show various degrees of infiltration, depending upon the type of leukemia. The degree of infiltration may vary from site to site. The liver and spleen are common sites of infiltration, the greatest appearing in myelocytic leukemia, but infiltration is seen also in the granulocytic and lymphocytic types. The kidney is also a common site and of the gastrointestinal system, the stomach and ileum are commonly involved. In lymphocytic leukemia the skin is often infiltrated. The central nervous system too is a common site.

Works about a study where participants are assigned to a treatment, procedure, or intervention by methods that are not random. Non-randomized clinical trials are sometimes referred to as quasi-experimental clinical trials or non-equivalent control group designs.

The predisposition to tooth decay (DENTAL CARIES).

A strongly basic anion exchange resin whose main constituent is polystyrene trimethylbenzylammonium Cl(-) anion.

Development of lesions in the lymph node characterized by infiltration of the cortex or paracortex by large collections of proliferating histiocytes and complete or, more often, incomplete necrosis of lymphoid tissue.
