Renal cell carcinoma(RCC) is one of the most common malignancies in kidney, and usually leads to poor prognosis. Therefore, identifying novel biomarkers for predicting the progression and prognosis of RCC is essential. The purpose of this study is aimed to evaluate the function of miR-221-5p in RCC and the clinical value of miR-221-5p in RCC prognosis after surgery.

High vascularization is a major characteristic of renal cell carcinoma (RCC). Thus, exploration of molecules promoting the tumor vascularization in RCC is urgent. Yes-associated Protein (YAP) is an on...
The present study aims to investigate the gene expression changes in papillary renal cell carcinoma(pRCC) and screen several genes and associated pathways of papillary renal cell carcinoma progression...
To report the overall survival (OS) outcomes of patients with nonclear cell renal cell carcinoma (nccRCC) treated at our institution with a cytoreductive nephrectomy (CN) and better understand the cli...
Targeted therapies for advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC) have shown increased tolerability and survival advantages over older treatments in clinical trials, but understanding of real-world survival ...
Patients with brain metastasis from renal cell carcinoma have poor outcomes despite recent advances in diagnosis and treatment. Moreover, factors affecting such poor outcomes are unclear. This study a...
The primary objective of the phase III study is to investigate whether IMA901 can prolong overall survival in patients with metastatic and/or locally advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC) wh...
The purpose of this study is to investigate whether TroVax, when added to first line standard of care therapy, improves survival for patients with locally advanced or metastatic clear cell...
Summary: Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the leading cause of cancer-related death in the world. This neoplasia has a poor survival prognosis due to the low effectiveness of existin...
The PERCY Quattro trial has been designed to evaluate the survival benefit of two cytokine treatments, Interleukin-2 (IL2) and/or alpha interferon (IFN), for patients with intermediate cha...

Proto-oncogene protein bcr is a serine-threonine kinase that functions as a negative regulator of CELL PROLIFERATION and NEOPLASTIC CELL TRANSFORMATION. It is commonly fused with cellular abl protein to form BCR-ABL FUSION PROTEINS in PHILADELPHIA CHROMOSOME positive LEUKEMIA patients.
Cell surface protein-tyrosine kinase receptors for HEPATOCYTE GROWTH FACTOR. They consist of an extracellular alpha chain which is disulfide-linked to the transmembrane beta chain. The cytoplasmic portion contains the catalytic domain and sites critical for the regulation of kinase activity. Mutations of the gene for PROTO-ONCOGENE PROTEINS C-MET are associated with papillary renal carcinoma and other neoplasia.
A family of closely related nerve growth factors that promote NEURON survival. They bind to GDNF RECEPTORS and stimulate SIGNAL TRANSDUCTION through PROTO-ONCOGENE PROTEIN C-RET.
Proto-oncogene proteins fes are protein-tyrosine kinases with a central SH2 DOMAIN. It has been implicated in SIGNAL TRANSDUCTION PATHWAYS for CELL DIFFERENTIATION of a variety of cell types including MYELOID PROGENITOR CELLS. Fes proto-oncogene proteins also bind TUBULIN and promote MICROTUBULE assembly.
A protein-serine-threonine kinase that is activated by PHOSPHORYLATION in response to GROWTH FACTORS or INSULIN. It plays a major role in cell metabolism, growth, and survival as a core component of SIGNAL TRANSDUCTION. Three isoforms have been described in mammalian cells.
Renal Cell Carcinoma
Renal cell cancer (renal adenocarcinoma or hypernephroma) is the most common type of kidney cancer in adults. More than 8 in every 10 (80%) kidney cancers diagnosed in the UK are this type. In renal cell cancer the cancerous cells start in the lini...
