Advanced hybrid coronary revascularization (AHCR) combines multi-vessel robotic beating-heart totally endoscopic coronary artery bypass with percutaneous coronary intervention. The aim of this study was to quantify the remaining coronary artery disease after AHCR using residual SYNTAX score.

To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report describing robotic beating-heart quadruple all-arterial totally endoscopic coronary artery bypass combined with percutaneous coronary interventio...
Atrial fibrillation is a frequent cause of morbidity following coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). SYNTAX score II (SSII) is associated with outcomes in patients undergoing coronary revascularizat...
This is the first human case of totally endoscopic robotic-assisted aortic valve replacement using a sutureless valve. The patient is a 76 year-old male with symptomatic severe aortic valve insufficie...
To evaluate the predictive accuracy of SYNTAX score (SS) I and II for detecting significant carotid artery stenosis (CAS) in patients with multivessel coronary artery disease undergoing coronary arter...
To develop and evaluate a hybrid robotic system for arm recovery after stroke, combining EMG-triggered Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) with a passive exoskeleton for upper limb suspension.
We want to assess the use of the residual SYNTAX score and the SYNTAX Revascularization Index as predictors for in-hospital outcomes and mid-term (6 months to 1 year) outcomes in patients ...
The SYNTAX-score has been proposed as a tool for risk stratification and guiding revascularization therapy in patients with complex coronary artery disease. There are limited data on the ...
Patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) were enrolled. CAD was diagnosed by coronary angiography which also resulted Syntax score. Images of left and right ears were captured by a digi...
Aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between heme oxygenase-1 enzyme level and angiographically determined SYNTAX score in patients with suspected stable coronary artery di...
The purpose of this study to evaluate and examine, weather use of Hybrid Argon Plasma Coagulation (APC) as adjunct to endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) will reduce the risk of residual or...
A method, developed by Dr. Virginia Apgar, to evaluate a newborn's adjustment to extrauterine life. Five items - heart rate, respiratory effort, muscle tone, reflex irritability, and color - are evaluated 60 seconds after birth and again five minutes later on a scale from 0-2, 0 being the lowest, 2 being normal. The five numbers are added for the Apgar score. A score of 0-3 represents severe distress, 4-7 indicates moderate distress, and a score of 7-10 predicts an absence of difficulty in adjusting to extrauterine life.
Screening techniques first developed in yeast to identify genes encoding interacting proteins. Variations are used to evaluate interplay between proteins and other molecules. Two-hybrid techniques refer to analysis for protein-protein interactions, one-hybrid for DNA-protein interactions, three-hybrid interactions for RNA-protein interactions or ligand-based interactions. Reverse n-hybrid techniques refer to analysis for mutations or other small molecules that dissociate known interactions.
An anatomic severity scale based on the Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) and developed specifically to score multiple traumatic injuries. It has been used as a predictor of mortality.
The volume of air contained in the lungs at the end of a maximal inspiration. It is the equivalent to each of the following sums: VITAL CAPACITY plus RESIDUAL VOLUME; INSPIRATORY CAPACITY plus FUNCTIONAL RESIDUAL CAPACITY; TIDAL VOLUME plus INSPIRATORY RESERVE VOLUME plus functional residual capacity; or tidal volume plus inspiratory reserve volume plus EXPIRATORY RESERVE VOLUME plus residual volume.
The volume of air remaining in the LUNGS at the end of a normal, quiet expiration. It is the sum of the RESIDUAL VOLUME and the EXPIRATORY RESERVE VOLUME. Common abbreviation is FRC.
