Cardiac troponin I (cTnI) is a regulatory protein with a high sensitivity and specificity for cardiac injury. Preoperative and postoperative elevations of cTnI are usually considered predictors of the...
To investigate appropriate postoperative management based on the risk of disease recurrences in thymic epithelial tumors after complete resection.
Family history of heart disease (FH-HD) is associated with an increase drisk of subsequent HD. High sensitive cardiac troponin T (hs-cTnT) is arecognized biomarker of myocyte injury even in HD free pa...
Surveillance and Management of Troponin Elevation after Vascular Surgery.
To implement a quality improvement initiative of postoperative troponin surveillance algorithm aimed at intensifying medical management after vascular surgery.
Postoperative Troponin in Renal Dysfunction After Cardiac Surgery
Elevated level of troponin is frequently observed among patients with renal dysfunction. Increase in troponin after cardiac surgery may predict postoperative outcome in cardiac surgery pat...
Angioplasty to Blunt the Rise of Troponin in Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS)
Release of troponin evaluated by the peak of troponin during the hospital phase.Because of its sensitivity and specificity as well as its widespread use in routine practice, rise in tropo...
Clinical Implication of DAC (Detrusor After-contraction)
The aims of this study are - to confirm whether detrusor after-contraction (DAC) is a true contraction or not with a new approach - and to understand clinical implicatio...
Troponin Elevation in the Elderly Patient With Hip Fracture
Elevated troponin is powerful and independent adverse prognostic marker in patient with ACS. However, non specific (non cardiac) troponin elevation is a common finding among hospitalized p...
Variations of High Sensitivity Troponin T in Neonates
Troponin T-us is a cardiac marker for myocardial infarction. Its use in neonates is increasing, yet normal values are still to be determined for the latest generation of tests, such as Hig...
Troponin T
One of the three polypeptide chains that make up the TROPONIN complex. It is a cardiac-specific protein that binds to TROPOMYOSIN. It is released from damaged or injured heart muscle cells (MYOCYTES, CARDIAC). Defects in the gene encoding troponin T result in FAMILIAL HYPERTROPHIC CARDIOMYOPATHY.
Troponin I
One of the three polypeptide chains that make up the TROPONIN complex. It inhibits F-actin-myosin interactions.
Troponin C
One of the three polypeptide chains that make up the TROPONIN complex of skeletal muscle. It is a calcium-binding protein.
Troponin
One of the minor protein components of skeletal muscle. Its function is to serve as the calcium-binding component in the troponin-tropomyosin B-actin-myosin complex by conferring calcium sensitivity to the cross-linked actin and myosin filaments.
Etodolac
A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent with potent analgesic and antiarthritic properties. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of OSTEOARTHRITIS; RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS; ankylosing SPONDYLITIS; and in the alleviation of postoperative pain (PAIN, POSTOPERATIVE).
