Identification the genetic factors in preeclampsia (PE) are useful to increase the current knowledge of the pathophysiology of the disorder. The genetic factors implicated for all cases of PE remain to be determined. This study was aimed to investigate association between ADD1 1378G>T, AGTR2 1675G>A, AGTR1 1166A>C, NOS3 894 G>T and CYP11B2 -344C>T gene polymorphisms in Iranian women with PE.

Many studies have described the influence of -176G > C polymorphism of the IL-6 gene on susceptibility to preeclampsia. However, the results have remained inconclusive and controversial. Therefore...
Preeclampsia (PE) is one of the leading causes of maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality. Preeclampsia is associated with aberrant expression of several MicroRNAs which function as gene regulat...
Genome-wide association studies have reported an association between the EDNRA gene and intracranial aneurysm (IA) in European and Japanese populations; however, there is no study on this polymorphism...
Genetic factors in combination with environmental factors play a critical role in the development type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) which is growing as an epidemic globally. In present study we aim to a...
Interleukin (IL)-17 have been reported to be associated with the pathogenesis of colorectal cancer (CRC). Few studies investigated the association between IL-17 gene polymorphisms and risk of CRC with...
In our study we assessed on of the released protein factors during pathophysiology of preeclampsia. We evaluated vascular endothelial growth factor gene mutation which affects the angiogen...
Few patients who have major risk factors develop Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). The heritable determinants might be the reason. The multicenter study is to investigate the ass...
The QTc interval is affected by heart rate, medications and changes in the autonomic nervous system. The endotracheal laryngoscopy, the necessary step during general anesthesia, prolongs Q...
The investigators investigate the possible association of PROP taste with gustin gene polymorphism rs2274333 (A/G), salivary zinc ion concentration and BMI.
Infections affecting the mother during pregnancy may produce alterations in the normal cytokine and hormone-regulated gestation, which could result in preeclampsia, preterm labor, prematur...
A mitochondrial cytochrome P450 enzyme that catalyzes the 18-hydroxylation of steroids in the presence of molecular oxygen and NADPH-specific flavoprotein. This enzyme, encoded by CYP11B2 gene, is important in the conversion of CORTICOSTERONE to 18-hydroxycorticosterone and the subsequent conversion to ALDOSTERONE.
