Radioresistance of Serpinb3a-/- Mice and Derived Hematopoietic and Marrow Stromal Cell Lines.

Serpins are a group of serine-proteases involved in multiple signal transduction pathways in mammalian cells. In particular, Serpinb3a is involved in the lysosomal necrosis cell death pathway with com...

Induction of multiple myeloma bone marrow stromal cell apoptosis by inhibiting extracellular vesicle miR-10a secretion.

Bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) interact with multiple myeloma (MM) cells in the bone marrow and create a permissive microenvironment for MM cell proliferation and survival. In this study, we invest...

A flibercept regulates retinal inflammation elicited by high glucose via the PlGF/ERK pathway.

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a secondary complication of diabetes. DR can cause irreversible blindness, and its pathogenesis has been considered multifactorial. DR can progress from non-proliferative ...

PlGF isoform 3 in maternal serum and placental tissue.

Four isoforms originating from alternative splicing of PGF gene have been reported for placental growth factor (PlGF). Main PlGF isoforms 1 and 2 have been associated with screening and diagnosis of p...

Sequential treatment with aT19 cells generates memory CAR-T cells and prolongs the lifespan of Raji-B-NDG mice.

Treatment with chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-modified T cells targeting CD19 has proved successful in patients with relapsed/refractory B cell malignancies. However, long-term follow-up indicates th...

Intra-articular Transplantation of Autologous Adipose Derived Stromal Vascular Faction (SVF) for Treatment of Osteoarthritis of the Knee

Researchers are trying to determine the safety and feasibility of autologous, adipose derived stromal vascular fraction injections in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis

Preeclampsia Ratio (sFlt-1/PlGF)

The aim of the PRECOG study is to determine in a prospective interventional randomized study whether the implementation of a predictive test based on the sFLT-1/PlGF ratio improves perinat...

Patient-derived Stem Cell Therapy for Diabetic Kidney Disease

The Researchers will assess the safety, tolerability, dosing effect, and early signals of efficacy of intra-arterially delivered autologous (from self) adipose (fat) tissue-derived mesench...

Autologous Culture Expanded Mesenchymal Stromal Cells for Knee Osteoarthritis

The study seeks to determine the safety and feasibility of using adipose-derived mesenchymal stromal cells to treat symptoms of mild to severe knee osteoarthritis.

Autologous Adipose Derived Mesenchymal Stromal Cells Transplantation in Women With Premature Ovarian Failure (POF)

The goal of this study is to determine safety and tolerability and of intra-ovarian injection of adipose derived stromal cell in women with premature ovarian failure and to study the preli...

Medical and Biotech [MESH] Definitions

Neoplasms of the endometrial stroma that sometimes involve the MYOMETRIUM. These tumors contain cells that may closely or remotely resemble the normal stromal cells. Endometrial stromal neoplasms are divided into three categories: (1) benign stromal nodules; (2) low-grade stromal sarcoma, or endolymphatic stromal myosis; and (3) malignant endometrial stromal sarcoma (SARCOMA, ENDOMETRIAL STROMAL).

A class of drugs that act by inhibition of potassium efflux through cell membranes. Blockade of potassium channels prolongs the duration of ACTION POTENTIALS. They are used as ANTI-ARRHYTHMIA AGENTS and VASODILATOR AGENTS.

Neoplasms derived from the primitive sex cord or gonadal stromal cells of the embryonic GONADS. They are classified by their presumed histogenesis and differentiation. From the sex cord, there are SERTOLI CELL TUMOR and GRANULOSA CELL TUMOR; from the gonadal stroma, LEYDIG CELL TUMOR and THECOMA. These tumors may be identified in either the OVARY or the TESTIS.

Cell lines whose original growing procedure consisted being transferred (T) every 3 days and plated at 300,000 cells per plate (J Cell Biol 17:299-313, 1963). Lines have been developed using several different strains of mice. Tissues are usually fibroblasts derived from mouse embryos but other types and sources have been developed as well. The 3T3 lines are valuable in vitro host systems for oncogenic virus transformation studies, since 3T3 cells possess a high sensitivity to CONTACT INHIBITION.

Strains of mice arising from a parental inbred stock that was subsequently used to produce substrains of knockout and other mutant mice with targeted mutations.
