Our previous study showed that Coiled-Coil Domain Containing 80 (CCDC80) accelerates the development of atherosclerosis by decreasing lipoprotein lipase (LPL) expression and activity in apoE knockout mice. However, the regulatory mechanism for CCDC80 expression is unclear. This study was designed to evaluate whether non-coding RNAs involved the regulation of CCDC80 expression in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs).

Accumulating evidences indicate that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play key roles in cancer. This study aims to clarify role of the metastasis-associated lung adenocarcinoma transcript 1 (MALAT1) in ...
Lung adenocarcinoma (LAD) is a highly aggressive malignant tumor which threatens the health and life of the population. Long non-coding RNA X-inactive specific transcript (XIST) and mouse double minut...
Long non-coding RNA metastasis-associated lung adenocarcinoma transcript 1 (lncRNA, MALAT1) has been found to be aberrantly expressed in osteosarcoma, while high MALAT1 expression is correlated with b...
Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play crucial roles in the regulation and treatment of multiple myeloma (MM). The objective of this research was to study the functional mechanism of metastasis-associate...
Sepsis is a life-threatening disease without ideal biomarkers. Some long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are found to be implicated in sepsis. Thus, we investigated the effects of lncRNA metastasis-associat...
Mortality due to non small cell lung cancers is the first cause of cancer death in men around the world. Lung adenocarcinoma regularly induces bone metastases responsible for high morbidit...
To gather preliminary safety and outcome data for the multimodality treatment of lung adenocarcinoma in the setting of multifocal BAC.
Metastasis is the leading cause of death in patients with lung cancer, and circulating tumor cells(CTCs) play a key role in the process of distant metastasis. The investigators' study will...
This study will determine the facilitation, refractoriness and spatial spread effects of auditory nerve fiber responses to electrical stimulation via a cochlear implant. The performance o...
This prospective phase II study is determined to explore the efficacy and safety of radiotherapy and bevacizumab maintenance therapy for oligometastatic lung adenocarcinoma with negative d...
A lesion with cytological characteristics associated with invasive adenocarcinoma but the tumor cells are confined to the GLANDULAR EPITHELIAL CELLS of origin. Adenocarcinoma in situ of the CERVIX and the LUNG are the most common.
A gene product of the p16 tumor suppressor gene (GENES, P16). It antagonizes the function of MDM2 PROTEIN (which regulates P53 TUMOR SUPPRESSOR PROTEIN by targeting it for degradation). p14ARF is produced from the beta mRNA transcript of the p16 gene. The other gene product, produced from the alternatively spliced alpha transcript, is CYCLIN-DEPENDENT KINASE INHIBITOR P16. Both p16 gene products have tumor suppressor functions.
A heterogeneous aggregate of at least three distinct histological types of lung cancer, including SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA; ADENOCARCINOMA; and LARGE CELL CARCINOMA. They are dealt with collectively because of their shared treatment strategy.
Specific sequences of nucleotides along a molecule of DNA (or, in the case of some viruses, RNA) which represent functional units of HEREDITY. Most eukaryotic genes contain a set of coding regions (EXONS) that are spliced together in the transcript, after removal of intervening sequence (INTRONS) and are therefore labeled split genes.
