Summary of "Secretory carcinoma: Fine needle aspiration cytology of a rare parotid gland tumor."

A 49-year male presented with a firm, nodular swelling measuring 1.5 cm diameter over the right parotid region for six months with a recent increase in size. There was no associated pain, fever, or tenderness in the affected area. There was no evidence of any facial nerve palsy. Fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) was performed from the swelling, smears were highly cellular and showed the presence of tumor cells in papillae, syncytial clusters, and singly scattered (figure 1a and 2a).
