Summary of "Long Non-coding RNA LINC01503 Promotes Gastric Cancer Cell Proliferation and Invasion by Regulating Wnt Signaling."

Previous studies have indicated that the dysregulation of long non-coding RNAs plays an important role in tumors. LINC01503 is a newly discovered lncRNA that promotes development of various tumor types. However, the function of LINC01503 in gastric cancer has not been reported yet.

Long Non-Coding RNA TMPO-AS1 Promotes Cell Migration and Invasion by Sponging miR-140-5p and Inducing SOX4-Mediated EMT in Gastric Cancer.

Mounting evidence show that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play critical roles in the progression of various human cancers, including gastric cancer (GC), a common gastrointestinal tumor. In this stud...

AURKB promotes gastric cancer progression via activation of expression.

Aurora kinase B (AURKB) triggers the phosphorylation of serine 10 on histone H3 (H3S10ph), which is important for chromosome condensation and cytokinesis during mitosis in mammals. However, how exactl...

Long non-coding RNA signature in gastric cancer.

Gastric cancer as a common human malignancy has been associated with aberrant expressions of several coding and non-coding genes. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) as regulators of gene expressions at di...

LBX2-AS1/miR-219a-2-3p/FUS/LBX2 positive feedback loop contributes to the proliferation of gastric cancer.

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are increasingly investigated in numerous carcinomas containing gastric cancer (GC). The aim of our research is to inquire about the expression profile and role of LBX2-...

Novel long non-coding RNA LBX2-AS1 indicates poor prognosis and promotes cell proliferation and metastasis through Notch signaling in non-small cell lung cancer.

Recent reports have suggested that long non-coding RNA LBX2 antisense RNA 1 (LBX2-AS1) acts as an important regulator in cancer progression. This study aimed to investigate the clinical significance o...

Clinical Study of Propranolol Combined With Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy in Gastric Cancer

At the cellular and animal level, we found that propranolol can inhibit the proliferation and invasion of gastric cancer cells. Further, we want to explore the efficacy and safety of propr...

Predictive Value of Progastrin Titer at Diagnosis and of Progastrin Kinetics During Treatment in Cancer Patients

Progastrin is a pro-hormone that, in physiological conditions, is maturated in gastrin in G cells of the stomach. The role of the gastrin is to stimulate the secretion of gastric acids dur...

Study of Vorinostat Plus Capecitabine (X) and Cisplatin (P) for 1st Line Treatment of Metastatic or Recurrent Gastric Cancer

There is scientific rationale for exploring the role of vorinostat, histone deacetylase inhibitor with capecitabine (X) and cisplatin (P), one of standard chemotherapy in patients with adv...

SREBP1 as a Potential Biomarker Promotes Cell Proliferation and Invasion in Thyroid Cancer

In this study, the investigators detected the expression of SREBP1 in thyroid cancer tissues, explored the biological functions of SREBP1 in thyroid cancer cells.

A Study on the Gastrointestinal Disease and Helicobacter Pylori Controlled Long Non-coding RNA

Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) is a major human pathogenic bacterium in gastric mucosa which is linked to the development of gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, mucosa-associated lymphoid tis...

Medical and Biotech [MESH] Definitions

That portion of the stomach remaining after gastric surgery, usually gastrectomy or gastroenterostomy for cancer of the stomach or peptic ulcer. It is a common site of cancer referred to as stump cancer or carcinoma of the gastric stump.

A meshwork-like substance found within the extracellular space and in association with the basement membrane of the cell surface. It promotes cellular proliferation and provides a supporting structure to which cells or cell lysates in culture dishes adhere.

A proto-oncogene protein and member of the Wnt family of proteins. It is frequently up-regulated in human GASTRIC CANCER and is a tumor marker (TUMOR MARKERS, BIOLOGICAL) of gastric and COLORECTAL CANCER.

A deoxycytidine derivative and fluorouracil PRODRUG that is used as an ANTINEOPLASTIC ANTIMETABOLITE in the treatment of COLON CANCER; BREAST CANCER and GASTRIC CANCER.

Nuclear phosphoprotein encoded by the p53 gene (GENES, P53) whose normal function is to control CELL PROLIFERATION and APOPTOSIS. A mutant or absent p53 protein has been found in LEUKEMIA; OSTEOSARCOMA; LUNG CANCER; and COLORECTAL CANCER.
