SinoPedia-A Linked Data Services platform for decentralized knowledge base.

Knowledge bases are largely developed and utilized in academic and industrial fields, such as DBPedia, VIAF, LoC, Getty, and which are published in the Linked Data format. However, if you want to view different resources on these knowledge bases, you have to switch between different web pages from these resources. Therefore, we proposed a decentralized data hub named SinoPedia, which consists of several linked data services and can re-publish these RDF data in one platform. One-Pot Synthesis of Unsymmetrical Bis-Heterocycles: Benzimidazole-, Benzoxazole-, and Benzothiazole-Linked Thiazolidines.

A one-pot, three-component synthesis of benzimidazole-linked thiazolidines from 2-cyanomethyl benzimidazole, iso-, isothio- or isoselenocyanates and 1,2-dichloroethane is reported. Isolation of the key intermediate formed during the course of the reaction validates its mechanistic pathway. Under the same reaction conditions, benzimidazole-linked/fused thiazinanes were obtained when 1,3-dichloropropane or diiodomethane was used.

A Distinct Clinical Phenotype in Two Siblings with X-linked Adrenoleukodystrophy.

X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy(X-ALD) is a rare X-linked recessive metabolic disorder. Generation of human induced pluripotent stem cells from peripheral blood mononuclear cells of a Senior-Loken syndrome patient.

Senior-Loken syndrome (SLS) is a rare disorder primarily associated with kidney and retinal dysfunction. We generated a human induced pluripotency stem cell (hiPSC) line, designated DKHi005-A, from peripheral blood mononuclear cells of a patient with SLS using a Sendai virus reprogramming method. We confirmed that DKHi005-A cells harbor the same mutation as the patient and show a normal karyotype. DKHi005-A also has pluripotency and the capacity for differentiation into the three germ layers. This cell line...
