Biochemical Mediators After Implant Loading

This study evaluates the nitric oxide and arginase levels in patients with dental implants. Peri-implant sulcular fluid and saliva samples were collected after loading of the implants

Study on Immediate Loading of Immediately Placed Single Implants.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate survival and success rates of dental implants placed with immediate loading protocol in extraction sockets. All patients were monitored for 1 year ...

Early Loading of Dental Implants; A Prospective Study in the Mandibular First Molar Area.

To evaluate the clinical success, stability, radiographic bone level changes and peri-implants soft tissue parameter of the SLActive surface implant supporting single crowns restorations i...

Immediate Loading a Histological Study

Twelve participants with edentulous alveolar crests in the distal portion of the arches will be included in the study. At least two implant sites will be identified in each patient and wil...

Immediate vs Delayed Loading of Single Tooth Implants

Previous studies have shown high success rates of immediately loaded implants on par with conventionally loaded implants (DL), while a few studies have also reported failure rates. Various...

Immediate Versus Delayed Loading of Dental Implants Supporting Fixed Full-Arch Maxillary Prostheses: A 10-year Follow-up Report.

To compare clinical outcomes of immediate vs delayed implant loading in edentulous maxillae with full-arch fixed prostheses.

Comparative study of immediate loading on short dental implants and conventional dental implants in the posterior mandible: A randomized clinical trial.

Immediate dental implant loading has been investigated with favorable results. However, short implants have not been investigated in this treatment option. This study compared the clinical outcomes an...

Effects of different loading protocols on the bone remodeling volume of immediate maxillary single implants: A 2- to 3-year follow-up.

The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of different loading protocols (immediate or delayed) on bone volume remodeling of an immediate implant-supported single crown in the maxilla with a ...

Understanding the impact loading characteristics of a badminton lunge among badminton players.

The rapid and repetitive badminton lunges would produce strenuous impact loading on the lower extremities of players and these loading are thought to be the contributing factors of chronic knee injuri...

Alterations in center of pressure during single limb loading in individuals with patellofemoral pain.

Altered foot loading during weight bearing is suggested to play a role in the development of patellofemoral pain (PFP). This study aimed to determine foot loading characteristics associated with PFP b...

Medical and Biotech [MESH] Definitions

Endosseous dental implantation where implants are fitted with an abutment or where an implant with a transmucosal coronal portion is used immediately (within 1 week) after the initial extraction. Conventionally, the implantation is performed in two stages with more than two months in between the stages.

Techniques and routines designed to prevent or reverse unwanted effects of weightlessness experienced during actual and simulated space flight, including physiologic changes related to removal of gravitational loading. Specific measures include creation of artificial gravity, exercise, low-level lower body negative pressure, and use of anti-deconditioning devices. (From Nicogossian, Space Physiology and Medicine, 2d ed, pp294-297)

The plan and delineation of DENTAL IMPLANT fitting with DENTAL ABUTMENT.

Insertion of an implant into the bone of the mandible or maxilla. The implant has an exposed head which protrudes through the mucosa and is a prosthodontic abutment.
