This phase II trial studies how well ibrutinib and nivolumab work in treating patients with classical Hodgkin lymphoma that has come back or has not responded to treatment. Ibrutinib may s...
This phase Ib/II trial studies the best dose of glembatumumab vedotin when giving together with nivolumab and ipilimumab in treating patients with solid tumor that has spread to other plac...
This phase II trial studies how well ibrutinib works in treating patients with stage IV melanoma of the skin that has not responded to previous treatment. Ibrutinib may stop the growth of ...
This phase Ib trial studies the side effects and best dose of copanlisib and nivolumab in treating patients with solid tumors that have spread to other places in the body or lymphoma. Copa...
This is an open-label, randomized, phase II trial to test the efficacy of Ibrutinib in combination with either Nivolumab or Cetuximab in the treatment of recurrent and/or metastatic head a...
Along with the expansion of therapeutic options for metastatic melanoma, the development of useful biomarkers is urgently required to predict and monitor treatment response. Serum 5-S-cysteinyldopa (5...
Despite a variety of therapies for advanced metastatic colorectal cancer being available, the outcomes in this malignancy remain sub-optimal. Immunotherapy has been slow to impact the management of th...
Brain metastases are a common cause of disabling neurologic complications and death in patients with metastatic melanoma. Previous studies of nivolumab combined with ipilimumab in metastatic melanoma ...
Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma (MPM) has limited treatment options and a poor outcome. PD-1/PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitors have proven efficacious in several cancer types. Nivolumab is a fully humanized ...
Nivolumab, an anti-PD-1 antibody, has been shown to be effective in many cancers, such as malignant melanoma and lung cancer; however, nivolumab therapy can result in pseudoprogression. Diffuse alveol...
An extraction method that separates analytes using a solid phase and a liquid phase. It is used for preparative sample cleanup before analysis by CHROMATOGRAPHY and other analytical methods.
Mucocellular carcinoma of the ovary, usually metastatic from the gastrointestinal tract, characterized by areas of mucoid degeneration and the presence of signet-ring-like cells. It accounts for 30%-40% of metastatic cancers to the ovaries and possibly 1%-2% of all malignant ovarian tumors. The lesions may not be discovered until the primary disease is advanced, and most patients die of their disease within a year. In some cases, a primary tumor is not found. (From Dorland, 27th ed; Holland et al., Cancer Medicine, 3d ed, p1685)
A systemic, large-cell, non-Hodgkin, malignant lymphoma characterized by cells with pleomorphic appearance and expressing the CD30 ANTIGEN. These so-called "hallmark" cells have lobulated and indented nuclei. This lymphoma is often mistaken for metastatic carcinoma and MALIGNANT HISTIOCYTOSIS.
A synthetic long-acting agonist of GONADOTROPIN-RELEASING HORMONE. Goserelin is used in treatments of malignant NEOPLASMS of the prostate, uterine fibromas, and metastatic breast cancer.
Body of knowledge related to the use of organisms, cells or cell-derived constituents for the purpose of developing products which are technically, scientifically and clinically useful. Alteration of biologic function at the molecular level (i.e., GENETIC ENGINEERING) is a central focus; laboratory methods used include TRANSFECTION and CLONING technologies, sequence and structure analysis algorithms, computer databases, and gene and protein structure function analysis and prediction.
