The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy of early initiation of adalimumab versus standard of care in patients who have not responded to initial methotrexate and received a rheumatoid arthritis diagnostic less than a year ago.
Allocation: Randomized, Endpoint Classification: Efficacy Study, Intervention Model: Parallel Assignment, Masking: Open Label, Primary Purpose: Treatment

Adalimumab in Combination With Methotrexate vs Methotrexate Alone in Early Rheumatoid Arthritis
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of adalimumab in combination with methotrexate compared to methotrexate alone on work disability in subjects with early rheumatoid...
Evaluation of two treatment modalities in early potentially severe early arthritis ( Methotrexate alone or in combination with adalimumab)
The study will assess the efficacy, safety, and immunogenicity of PF-06410293 and adalimumab in combination with methotrexate in subjects with moderately to severly active rheumatoid arthr...
Adalimumab Administered in Korean Rheumatoid Arthritis Subjects Treated With Methotrexate
The purpose of the study is to assess the safety and efficacy of adalimumab compared to placebo in subjects with rheumatoid arthritis on methotrexate therapy.
The purpose of this study is to determine how safe and effective the study drug Olokizumab is, in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) who are already receiving, but not fully respondin...
To assess the efficacy and safety of adalimumab on uveitis in patients with early onset, chronic, juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA)-associated or idiopathic anterior uveitis and an inadequate respon...
Adalimumab-Induced Epstein-Barr Virus-Related Lymphoproliferative Disorder on FDG PET/CT.
Adalimumab is a fully human chimeric tumor necrosis factor inhibitor used to treat immune-mediated disorders such as psoriatic arthritis. We present a 51-year-old woman with psoriatic arthritis on met...
Treatment of chronic chikungunya arthritis with methotrexate: a systematic review.
Chikungunya is a rapidly emerging, global viral infection that can cause chronic, debilitating arthritis that in some ways mimics rheumatoid arthritis. This study evaluated the available evidence of t...
The 24-week equivalent efficacy and comparable safety results of SB5 and reference adalimumab (ADA) from the phase 3 randomized study in patients with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis (RA) have...
Cost-effectiveness of early treatment of ACPA-positive rheumatoid arthritis patients with abatacept.
Studies have reported that the presence of elevated anti-citrullinated protein antibodies (ACPA)/RF levels, together with joint erosions, is associated with higher disease burden in terms of disabilit...
Adalimumab
A humanized monoclonal antibody that binds specifically to TNF-ALPHA and blocks its interaction with endogenous TNF RECEPTORS to modulate INFLAMMATION. It is used in the treatment of RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS; PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS; CROHN'S DISEASE and ULCERATIVE COLITIS.
Arthritis, Juvenile
Arthritis in children, with onset before 16 years of age. The terms juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA) and juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) refer to classification systems for chronic arthritis in children. Only one subtype of juvenile arthritis (polyarticular-onset, rheumatoid factor-positive) clinically resembles adult rheumatoid arthritis and is considered its childhood equivalent.
Arthritis, Gouty
Arthritis, especially of the great toe, as a result of gout. Acute gouty arthritis often is precipitated by trauma, infection, surgery, etc. The initial attacks are usually monoarticular but later attacks are often polyarticular.
Arthritis, Reactive
An aseptic, inflammatory arthritis developing secondary to a primary extra-articular infection, most typically of the GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT or UROGENITAL SYSTEM. The initiating trigger pathogens are usually SHIGELLA; SALMONELLA; YERSINIA; CAMPYLOBACTER; or CHLAMYDIA TRACHOMATIS. Reactive arthritis is strongly associated with HLA-B27 ANTIGEN.
Arthritis, Experimental
ARTHRITIS that is induced in experimental animals. Immunological methods and infectious agents can be used to develop experimental arthritis models. These methods include injections of stimulators of the immune response, such as an adjuvant (ADJUVANTS, IMMUNOLOGIC) or COLLAGEN.
