Changes in brain amyloid-β accumulation after donepezil administration.

Recent studies using the mouse model of Alzheimer's disease (AD) have shown that donepezil administration reduces brain amyloid-β (Aβ) accumulation. This study investigated whether donepezil adminis...

Association between ABCA1 gene polymorphisms and the therapeutic response to donepezil therapy in Han Chinese patients with Alzheimer's disease.

It is reported that ABCA1, which plays a key role in cholesterol transport and apolipoprotein E (APOE) metabolism in the brain, is related to Alzheimer's disease. However, few studies have focused on ...

Medical and Biotech [MESH] Definitions

Misunderstanding among individuals, frequently research subjects, of scientific methods such as randomization and placebo controls.

An effect usually, but not necessarily, beneficial that is attributable to an expectation that the regimen will have an effect, i.e., the effect is due to the power of suggestion.

Measures of spatial cognition and memory.

Intellectual or mental process whereby an organism becomes aware of or obtains knowledge.
