This is a multicenter, single-dose trial to evaluate the efficacy of a novel ibuprofen formulation compared to a placebo in patients with a fever due to a flu-like upper respiratory illness. Patients will be randomized to receive either a single dose of a novel ibuprofen formulation (equal to 400mg ibuprofen) or a single dose of a placebo. After taking the study drug, patients will measure their temperature at pre-specified time points over an 8 hour period.
