The purpose of this cohort post market registry is to collect data and create a global database on use of embolization devices and embolization procedures outcome. The data collected in the cohort will serve a scientific purpose to acquire better insight in embolization procedures. This will be achieved by publications in Scientific Journals and by presentations at scientific meetings. Additionally it will support the industry on creating a better overview of the products used ...
The overall purpose of this research study is to identify the disparity in ischemia measurement between fractional flow reserve (FFR) used in the cardiac catheterization laboratory and myocardial perfusion stress- single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT). This study aims to determine the correlation between simultaneous FFR and SPECT obtained using regadenoson in the catheterization laboratory.
This study evaluates SPECT image data acquired from Spectrum Dynamics' multi-purpose CZT SPECT camera. All subjects will undergo routine clinical Anger SPECT imaging and an additional SPECT acquisition on the CZT SPECT camera. The quality of images from each device will be compared.
Cryo AF Global Registry a prospective, global, multi-center, observational Post-Market Registry
This study aims to compare the efficacy of three therapies for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients: one, conventional drug based on Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD) 2017 and Chinese Medical Association Guidelines; another, acupuncture, an important part of traditional Chinese Medicine; and finally, the combination of conventional drug and acupuncture, and then determine which therapy is the most suitable for patients with COPD.
An Evaluation of the Safety of Escalating Doses of Tc 99m Tilmanocept by Intravenous (IV) Injection and Skeletal Joint Imaging With SPECT in Subjects With Active Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and Healthy Controls
Prospective, open-label, multicenter, dose escalation, safety study of injected Tc 99m tilmanocept in the detection of and assessment of localization to skeletal joints in subjects with and without active RA by SPECT imaging.
This study aims at combining inspiration breath-hold myocardial perfusion SPECT with coronary CT angiography.
Cardiovascular (CV) disease is the leading cause of death in Canada. Fifty percent of all Tc-99m used in nuclear medicine is for the diagnosis of coronary artery disease (CAD) with SPECT myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI). The reduced supply of Tc-99m requires other tracers to be investigated. Tl-201 SPECT is available but generally accepted to be inferior to Tc-99m. Rubidium (Rb-82), a nonreactor produced tracer, is believed to have superior accuracy compared to Tc-99m and Tl-...
A direct comparison of Positron Emission Tomography (PET) (11C-Raclopride) and Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) (123I-IBZM) D2 RO measurements would allow GSK to gain understanding on the SPECT results obtained with SB773812, and to accurately interpret future D2 RO results from either PET or SPECT studies with new compounds.
Following the implementation of SPECT V/Q imaging for PE diagnosis, the investigators previously conducted an observational study over the period 2011-2013 that showed the safety of a diagnostic management based on SPECT V/Q to rule out PE. However, PE prevalence was high (28%), which may seem a bit high as compared with other recent studies. The hypothesis was that the use of SPECT V/Q may be responsible for an overdiagnosis of PE, especially at the implementation phase of the...
To find out the safety and efficacy of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) in the evaluation and treatment of angiographically borderline coronary artery lesions in a Chinese population, and to compare the effectiveness of OCT versus SPECT in treating such subjects. All patients included in the study will be those that are found to have borderline coronary artery lesions on coronary angiography, in whom we feel that OCT will be useful to assess whether PCI will be of benefit to...
A questionnaire for this research is designed, which initiated from TSQM-II treatment satisfaction questionnaire and based on research launched by rheumatology and immunology departments of Chinese 12 public tertiary hospitals distributed directionally by Chinese Rheumatism Data Center (CRDC). The research is about treatment satisfaction and its influencing factors for Chinese rheumatoid immunologists and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients as well as their expectations for trea...
The underlying goal of this study is to assess 123-I IBVM SPECT imaging as a tool to assess cholinergic transporter binding in the brain of AD and PD research participants and age- and gender-matched healthy subjects.
The study evaluates the impact of a multi-sectoral intervention (water, sanitation, and hygiene; training on climate smart activities; care groups for mothers; market gardens) on the prevalence of acute malnutrition as the primary outcome using a randomized intervention trial between 2012-2017 with four points of data collection (2012, 2014, 2015, and 2017).
This study enrolled participants with documented exercise-induced myocardial ischemia in order to evaluate whether ranolazine, when taken prior to exercise, can improve blood flow to the heart (myocardial perfusion), as assessed by exercise-induced myocardial perfusion defect size (PDS) and total perfusion deficit (TPD), using gated single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI). This was a 2-period crossover study. The last dose of each ...
Evaluation of Technetium Tc 99m Tilmanocept (Lymphoseek®) Localization, Retention, and Distribution in Primary Cutaneous Kaposi's Sarcoma (KS) and Lymphatic Drainage From KS Lesions by SPECT and SPECT/CT Imaging
The purpose of this study (NAV3-12) is to determine the dissemination and localization of Tc 99m tilmanocept by SPECT and SPECT/CT imaging in subjects with confirmed cutaneous KS. This is a single center, open-label, within-subject study.
Aim of this project is to investigate the effects of escitalopram on monoamine transporter (SERT, DAT) availabilities as assessed by b-CIT and SPECT, and on neurophysiological parameters such as the loudness dependence of auditory evoked potentials (LDAEP) in patients with depression.
Biomedical and biotechnology industry is internationally regarded as the most brilliant star performer of the future. The development of biomedical depends on a high quality academic research environment, while innovation and uniqueness should be emphasized for the development of biotechnology industry. The successful development of biotechnology industry will be impossible if the development is not based on extensive and in-depth research work and verification acquired from cl...
Determine the localization of Tc 99m tilmanocept by SPECT and SPECT/CT imaging in subjects with active RA and concordance with clinical symptomology.
This is a multiple-center Phase 2 study designed to expand the patient safety and clinical information using 99m Tc-Ec-DG with Spect/CT imaging, to develop procedures and methods for evaluation of the imaging studies, to determine comparability of diagnostic information between SPECT and SPECT/CT imaging and to to compare the safety and efficacy of 99m Tc-EC-DG SPECT/CT with 18F-FDG PET/CT in imaging patients with biopsy confirmed diagnosis of Non-small Cell Lung Cancer.
The overall objective of the AFFECTS Study is to assess agreement between SPECT and FFRct in identifying vessel-specific, hemodynamically significant CAD in patients scheduled for invasive coronary angiography (ICA) based on abnormal SPECT myocardial perfusion scans. In particular, the study will evaluate the ability of FFRct to correctly rule out hemodynamically significant CAD in patients with non-significant CAD or normal coronary arteries who had positive SPECT scans.
As part of the global clinical development program for AG-013736, studies are ongoing (and planned) in cancer patients in China. An assessment of AG-013736 pharmacokinetics in Chinese subjects, as required by the Chinese Health Authorities, is therefore warranted. In the current study the single dose pharmacokinetics of AG-013736 will be characterized at 3 doses (5 mg, 7 mg and 10 mg).
The purpose of this study is to assess the technical feasibility and the clinical added-value of SPECT/CT as a complement to LM/SL in patients with early stage of cervical cancer and vulvar cancer.
