The primary hypothesis of this study is that the addition of mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) blockade to conventional epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) blockade will result in synergistic clinical activity in Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck (SCCHN), consistent with the preclinical xenograft data. The primary signal of efficacy will be progression free survival (PFS), anticipating that PFS will be prolonged compared to historical PFS in SCCHN patients t...
This is a multicenter, open label, three arms, Phase IB study. A dose escalation phase of Temsirolimus (Torisel™) administered in intravenous (IV) at day 2, day 8 and day 15 in combination with three chemotherapies regimens for patients in relapsed/refractory Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL): - Rituximab-Cyclophosphamide-Doxorubicin-Vincristine-Prednisone (R-CHOP) administered every 3 weeks for 6 cycles, - Rituximab-Fludarabine-Cyclophosphamide (R-FC) administer...
The main purpose of this research study is to collect information to learn how effective erlotinib (tarceva) is in combination with either bevacizumab or sulindac in treating patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck. Erlotinib and bevacizumab are targeted therapy drugs that can control tumor growth by targeting specific abnormalities sometimes found on cancer cells. Erlotinib targets epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), and bevacizumab targets vascular e...
This 2 arm study will compare the efficacy and safety of Tarceva, versus standard of care, in patients with resected head and neck squamous cell cancer who are receiving concurrent chemo-radiotherapy or radiotherapy alone. Patients will be randomized to receive either Tarceva 150mg po daily or standard of care. The anticipated time on study treatment is until disease progression, and the target sample size is 100-500 individuals.
The goal of this clinical research study is to learn if Tarceva ® (erlotinib) when taken before and after radiation and/or surgery can help to control aggressive cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma. The safety of the drug will also be studied. The primary objective is to: Determine the response rate to induction therapy with erlotinib 150 mg/day in patients with aggressive squamous cell carcinoma of the skin who are planned for definitive local surgery or radiation ther...
To confirm the safety of the long-term use of TORISEL 25 mg for Intravenous Drip Infusion particularly for the onset of interstitial lung disease from Weeks 25 to 96 after the start of administration.
The purpose of this study is to test the safety and tolerability of tivozanib (AV-951) and Torisel™ given in combination for renal cell cancer. The study will also assess the effects of the combination of tivozanib (AV-951) and Torisel™ on the tumor. Tivozanib (AV-951) is a VEGF-receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor, and may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Temsirolimus is an mTOR inhibitor which is approved for the treatment of advanced rena...
The TORAVA trial is designed to evaluate the progression-free rate at 48 weeks of a combination of Torisel® and Avastin® given at first-line treatment in patients with metastatic renal cancer. Eligible patients will be randomly assigned, in a 2:1:1 ratio, to either Avastin® + Torisel®, or Sutent® or IFN+Avastin®.
Aim of the study is to verify wether it is possible to have a more sensitive diagnostic tool using pancytokeratin immunohistochemistry for desmoplastic squamous cell carcinoma compared to regular H&E staining. The investigators therefore plan to include 73 participants with a confirmed diagnosis of desmoplastic squamous cell carcinoma and do regular follow up.
The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of pembrolizumab in patient with locally advanced or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the skin
The purpose of this study is to further test a combination chemotherapy regimen for the treatment of squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck and to see if the addition of supportive medicine can help reduce the side effects of these drugs.
Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck (SCCHN) is a devastating illness, the treatment of which is associated with significant morbidity. This type of cancer affects 43,000 individuals each year with an estimated survival rate of 50%. A potential treatment alternative for this patient population is the use of peptide-based immunotherapy. This clinical tial will be using a vaccines comprised on the Trojan peptides MAGE-A3 and HPV 16 to treat patients with Squamous Cell Car...
The gold treatment for local invasive cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma is surgical excision. Nevertheless, surgery is not always an option as a consequence of the age and/or the health status of the patient. One of the objectives of this study is to assess the effects of cisplatin concomitantly with a subsequent low-energy X-rays irradiation in vitro. In order to enhance the effectiveness of this combined treatment, the temporal fractionation of the platinated compound is expe...
The purpose of this study is to determine if combination Erlotinib, Cisplatin/Carboplatin, and Paclitaxel are effective first line treatment for metastatic, recurrent and persistent squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck.
This Prospective, single-arm Phase Ⅱ study is to determine the efficacy and safety of Once-daily Simultaneous Modulated Accelerated Radiotherapy combined with S-1/DDP for geratic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma patients.
Penile squamous cell carcinoma (PSCC) is relatively rare but exhibits higher incidences in less developed countries. PSCC is a highly aggressive malignancy characterized by early spread. Pembrolizumab has recently been FDA-approved for the treatment of melanoma but will serve as the investigational agent for this penile cancer study.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy and the safety of paclitaxel liposome injection and carboplatin compared with gemcitabine and carboplatin as first-line therapy in advanced squamous cell carcinoma of lung.
The objective of this program is to provide access to cemiplimab (REGN2810) to patients with metastatic cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (mCSCC) or locally advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (laCSCC) who are not candidates for surgery prior to cemiplimab (REGN2810) being commercially available.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether docetaxel, cisplatin, and capecitabine (DCX) are effective as the neoadjuvant chemotherapy before esophagectomy in patients with loco-regional esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC).
This open-label, multi-center study will evaluate the progression-free survival and safety of Tarceva (erlotinib) in patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer with activating mutations in the tyrosine kinase domain of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). Patients will receive daily oral doses of Tarceva until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity.
Esophageal or esophageal-gastric junction squamous cell cancer has dismal prognosis. And still no promising chemotherapeutic drugs is existed. In this study, The investigators wanted to look at the effects and safety of first line docetaxel-PM and oxaliplatin weekly administration chemotherapy for the participants with inoperable or metastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
To identify risk factors for aggressiveness in Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the skin in organ transplant recipients.
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and tolerability of pharmaceutical compound 31510 in a topical cream when applied to in situ cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma and to obtain preliminary efficacy data for the treatment of in situ cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma by Compound 31510 topical cream.
