Comparison of the clinical effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of the MIS anterolateral approach (MIS Watson Jones, G3) versus anterolateral mini or posterolateral mini approaches in primary total hip arthroplasty
Current "Minimally Invasive THR" includes: (1) Minimally Invasive Two-Incision THR (MIS-2), (2) Minimally Invasive Modified Watson-Jones THR (MIS-WJ). In contrast, "mini-incision" utilizes smaller incision (< 10 cm in definition) to perform the THR which can further be divided into mini-anterolateral (Mini-AL) and mini-posterolateral (Mini-PL).The purpose of this study is to investigate how MIS THR can affect the results of THR by a prospective randomized clinical trial. Symptoms resulting from mild/moderate trauma to the brain are as varied as the individuals who sustain them. The currently held belief is that the majority of healing and functional recovery occurs within the first two years post injury. A large proportion of individuals who sustain mild/moderate brain injuries (mTBIs) do not fully recover, and continue to experience symptoms well beyond two years post injury. Cognitive rehabilitation programs have been shown to be somewhat eff...
A first empirical evidence on the difficulties of observance of morphine in cancer patients invited a multidisciplinary team to initiate an innovative quality approach.
