Pharmaderm Animal Health, our veterinary division (www.pharmadermah.com) produces a variety of ophthalmic and dermatologic preparations for animal care. The majority of items produced by Pharmaderm AH are prescription drugs, which can only be dispensed by licensed veterinarians. Pharmaderm AH has been dedicated to serving the needs of the veterinary professionals for over 30 years. Our products are marketed through veterinary distributor partners located throughout the United States. All Pharmaderm Animal Health products are intended for use in small non-food bearing animals, cats and dogs.
ALTANA Inc. also markets and sells Savage Laboratories products (www.savagelabs.com), which focus on emergency care products. The primary products promoted to hospital emergency medicine departments are the life and limb saving product CroFabTM - Crotalidae Polyvalent Immune Fab (Ovine) and DigiFab® - Digoxin Immune Fab (Ovine) used to treat digoxin toxicity.
