Fusion Clinical Trials Company Profile

20:49 EDT 24th September 2017 | BioPortfolio

FUSION Clinical Trials has been engaged in clinical trials since 1989. Studies were initially conducted at the EMO ambulatory care centers in New Jersey. As a natural outgrowth of this activity, emergency department research and expansion to our California sites followed. Under our previous name, MedAmerica Clinical Research, we were the sole support organization for the 700 MedAmerica physicians across the country. As a result of our early success, other investigators affiliated with our institutions sought to join our organization. Although we initially made our training and support available to these new investigators, this practice deviated from our founding premise that investigator-owned site organizations are the most viable. In an industry where value-added support, flawless cohesion and streamlined initiations are the most compelling arguments for an SMO's existence, we felt that formally incorporating all the investigators within a single organization was imperative. Thus, the new organization was the FUSION of our MedAmerica sites and external sites into a single organization.
