Dr. Couch has been an independent consultant for EAS Consulting Group since 2012 and was invited to be the EAS Independent Advisor for Dietary Supplements in 2015.
As a consultant Dr. Couch assisted dietary supplement and tobacco companies with the development, improvement, and implementation of strong Quality Systems that are scientifically sound, efficient, practical, and compliant with all FDA regulations. As an advisor, she continued with these roles and took a proactive approach to monitoring the regulatory environment and advising EAS independent consultants of trends and approaches to FDA guidance. She will have oversight of our Dietary Supplement and Tobacco consulting programs and the new position will offer her an opportunity for full engagement with all EAS clients in these areas ensuring a holistic approach to regulatory needs in this fast changing environment.

Dr. Tara Lin Couch is a Ph.D. Analytical / Organic Chemist with exceptional analytical abilities and over 30 years of diverse laboratory work and compliance and regulatory experience in academic, contract, and manufacturing environments. She is a sought after expert and educator on issues pertaining to Quality Control in both pharmaceutical and dietary supplement manufacturing facilities including the establishment of specifications and the development of well-organized, sophisticated laboratories, and overall GMP compliance.
