U.S. Anesthesia Partners, Inc. (USAP), the nation’s leading Anesthesia-focused physician services organization, today announced that two leading practices, Florida Anesthesia Associates and Jacksonville Anesthesia, have joined USAP. The two practices will be known as USAP-Florida, which also includes the former JLR (Orlando area) and MAPMC (Ft. Myers area) practice groups.
“We are pleased to welcome both of these top-tier practices into the USAP family,” said Robby Grabow, Senior Vice President, USAP-Florida. “We are building a unique organization for the specialty of anesthesiology and quality groups like these are seeking a partner that can provide them with the support, expertise and infrastructure needed to succeed in a very demanding health care environment. Through their partnership with USAP, these practices will retain local control over their clinical governance and operations, and continue to provide quality, patient-focused perioperative care services to the surgeons, facilities and communities they serve here in Northeast Florida.”
“We are pleased to be able to join the premier anesthesia practice in the country,” said Mark Kramp, MD, Florida Anesthesia Associates. “By teaming with USAP, we will be able to provide even better services and coverage for patients in the Jacksonville area.”
Glen Martin, MD, Jacksonville Anesthesia said: “Our new affiliation with USAP gives us a unique opportunity to remain a local practice while allowing us to take advantage of the infrastructure and business expertise of a national practice. That will translate to even higher quality patient care and satisfaction, benefiting not only the patient, but also payers and our fellow Jacksonville area health care providers and facilities.”
