This work reports on the photoluminescent properties of three new lanthanide complexes with acetoacetanilide (aaa), a β-diketonate ligand. Diimine ligand (DL) 1 significantly exhibited the fluorescence quenching upon binding to guanine. A new pyrazoline-based probe was synthesized and the structure was determined by using X-ray diffraction analysis.
